Weekend Recap

It was a beautiful weekend in South Carolina and I'm so sad it's over.

We took Camden to Soda City Market in the morning and actually saw another Bernese Mountain dog. Of course we were literally in the middle of crossing the street and couldn't chat much. We'll try to find them again though. I need a picture like this in my life.

I spent the afternoon writing thank you notes, while Andy did some work. To celebrate our diligence we had dinner at Groucho's for some all turkey STPs and Formula 45 sauce. If you have ever been to Columbia, SC or many surrounding cities you have heard of Groucho's. It's a local deli that features a secret sauce that's a kind of Thousand Island/Russian dressing mix but with lots of dill, delicious! It's a must try if you travel through the area.

Sunday brought even more good weather and we had to take advantage of it. We both worked in the yard, Andy trimmed the crepe myrtles and I spread some new pine straw in the flower beds. Our yard still has a long way to go, but a little work such makes a difference.

I hope you had a great weekend and hopefully waking up with morning wasn't too painfully with the time change.
