Five on Friday, oh how I’ve missed you.
I’ve missed blogging too. I’m catching up with all my usual blogs
and can’t wait to find some new ones through the linkup.
ONE:
We had a really fun experience last night at work. (How
often do you get to say that?) One of my co-worker’s old roommate is about to
take her sommelier test. To give herself a little practice she did a wine
tasting for us. We all brought snacks, lit some candles, and learned a lot
about wine. So fun!
TWO:
We have been looking around for a couch for our formal living
room. We don’t want it too formal, just comfortable and inviting. I’m thinking
I want a linen color and maybe some nail head detailing. I’d love your thoughts
or if you have found this anywhere.
THREE:
We have also been
visiting plant nurseries to get some landscaping ideas. We need a hedgerow for
the front of our house so badly. On the way out I saw these mums and thought
they were so pretty. I’ve only ever seen them in planters, never placed in the
ground. I love the pop of color they bring.
FOUR:
We live about 5 minutes from a Village Idiot Pizza in Columbia and we recently tried their hurricane pizza, with pepperoni added, and it was amazing. That pesto swirl makes it out of this world good, and pretty!

FIVE:
My Gamecocks lost a heart breaker of a game last weekend and I will be firmly rooted to my couch on Saturday cheering them on in Kentucky. We’ve had a good time tailgating this season, despite the insane heat in August and September, and can’t wait for the rest of the home games.
