I’ve been so distracted lately! Lots of stuff has happened that I’ve thought of doing a blog post about but I just haven’t sat down and done it. So get ready for a random thoughts post.
First, the Royal Wedding. I didn’t wake up before the crack of dawn to watch the wedding live however I did pop out of bed when the alarm went off and watched the happy couple ride in the carriage, which I saw in person last year during the Olsgaard family trip to England, and the now famous double kiss on the balcony. I thought Kate’s dress was beautiful and perfect for a future queen. I am a huge fan of Grace Kelly and I believe you can’t go wrong with a nod to her with the lace sleeves. I truly hope that this fairy tale will last and I was excited to see history in the making. 
And she did her own makeup. I'm not sure I'm even that brave.
Second, I should not be allowed to go into Target unsupervised. I went in yesterday to buy hand soap and all I’m going to say is I came out with everything but the soap, which I totally forgot to pick up. Seriously! Why do they have to have such cute things? I realize that many girls have this problem with chic boutiques and shoe stores but I don’t go into those kinds of places very often so my guilty pleasure is Target. I got the cutest swimsuit from their new line Calypso which I can’t wait to wear in a month when Ace and I go on a trip to, drum roll please……………CANCUN! I’ve never been and Ace’s family has a time share down there so we are going in June. I’m so excited because this will be my first trip to Mexico and our first time vacationing with the family for a weeklong trip. It should be fun!
Last, I have a truly random thought for you. My new favorite food obsession is lime tortilla chips. I went to Qdoba the other day, which is very rare since Ace is a true Chipotle fan to the core, but I noticed their chips have lime salt on them and they were amazing. (Side note: I love lime! I want a lime tree in my yard once I have a yard to plant it in.) So while I was buying everything in the store at Target I picked up some Hint of Lime Tostitos and they are so good.

To close out the randomness I’ll let you know that I’m about to start reading Water for Elephants and I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve had it on my list for ages and now that the movie is out I want to read the book before I see the movie.Have a great Happy Hump Day!
